We also assist our clients with the handling of their business transactions including mergers and acquisitions and asset purchase agreements.
We have expertise in both the formation of provider-based departments and joint ventures involving for-profit and tax-exempt entities.
We provide counsel regularly to our hospital and healthcare facility clients on litigating complex matters, drafting and implementing system-wide compliance plans, licensing and certification issues, complying with tax-exempt bond requirements, assisting with CMS and Joint Commission Surveys, preparing and conducting medical staff peer review and hearings, drafting and interpreting medical staff bylaws and rules and regulations, drafting and implementing corrective action plans, forming Institutional Review Boards (IRBS), and advising on governance issues for tax-exempt hospital board of directors.
